Saalbach is a world-famous ski resort in the county of Salzburg. Thanks to its wide infrastructure and gigantic mountain landscape, the area is also offering a lot during summer season. The huge climbing park, the treetop path and the largest Flying Fox facility in Europe are particularly attractive for young adventurous explorers. In Saalbach there is a beautiful swimming pool and of course a beautiful mountain landscape offering hiking, well accessable by various cable cars.
The town of "Zell am See" is 20 minutes away by bus and, in addition to the very clean bathing lake, also offers a nice old town with nice shopping opportunities.
Jouth hostel "Salitererhof"
Our house offers freshly renovated rooms with 3-6 beds, each room with its own bathroom and toilet. In the basement there is a cozy lounge with table tennis, table football and a disco.
In front of the house there is a large lawn with beach volleyball, a soccer field, trampoline and access to a cool creek, where you can refresh yourself after your morning exercise or take a quick dip in between. On the compound they even have cute rabbits and a pony.
Excursion program
The students are supervised every afternoon, even if they do not take part in one of the following excursions. Strolling into town for an ice cream is always possible in small groups. The excursion program is based on the wishes of the majority. The prices given are a guideline and can vary slightly depending on the age and size of the group.
The excursions are voluntary. The students choose and pay for their participation directly to the camp management.
1 hike per week is MANDATORY (and of course free)!

passes right by our house and leads till Saalbach center. It features 24 stations for various excercices.

Alpine coaster at Fieberbrunn
going there by bus, up the mountain by cable car and having 2 rides with the 2km alpine coaster. The place is featuring a water playground and a ginat tramoline as well.

Climbing park
In the heart of the valley end of Saalbach Hinterglemm is our high rope park consisting of 10 different climbing courses. We go there and back by bus.

Jump&Slide und Baumzipfelweg
Surrounded by an impressive mountain panorama, the new jump and slide park is situated at the source of the Saalach river. With an 8 meter “jump tower”, trampoline area and a “Freestyle ramp (kicker) for a cool and relaxing sessions.

Mega Flying Fox
in Saalbach Hinterglemm is the ultimate flying experience!
– 2 Flying Fox with an overall length of 1.5km. In a laying position, you go up to 100km/h and 120m high.

Sunday at the lake (Zell am See)
we go by bus to the near by lake of Zell, having a relaxing bathing time, do 1h SUP, having a boat trip or banana ride and moving around the well known old town of Zell am See

by train to the city of Mozart, old town tour, visit of Salzburg Castle with audio guide, lunch at MacDo, shopping, Hellbrunn Palace with trick fountains.
